in the late 90s, Kaws emerged into mainstream pop culture collaborating with Medicom Toys in Japan
later did collaborations with A Bathing Ape, Nike, Burton, Trek just to name a few
he later went on to develop his own streetwear brand Original Fake with a shop in Harajuku, Japan
